Basically, I felt scammed twice. Absolutely not recommended, my impression is that they aren't transparent and honest at all. This is what happened: I am in immigrant and I don't know the german regulation, so I contacted them in January 2022 for asking what is an EvB and how to get one. A Basler employee told me that the EvB is just a code I needed to register my motorbike to the Rathaus and that they could have gave me one. He hasn't told me that the contract with them would have automatically started from the very day I registered the motorbike. All the opposite: he wrote me by email that after I had registered my motorbike in the Rathaus we could have met to subscribe an insurance contract. Following a suggestion, in February I went to another consultant and I asked for a Motorbike insurance. The consultant told me that I had already an open contract with Basler and, before being able to open a new one, I needed to quit it. Therefore he sent an email to Basler for me, clearly specifying that I wanted to quit the contract from that very day and to use the lowest protection possibile (z.B. no kasko, no fire and theft protection, lowest amount possible of kilometers per years an so on) to determine the amount I owed them. After several months I received an invoice from Basler and they calculated the amount I owed them using the highest protection possible, completely ignoring the email we sent them. Very, very annoying. We tried to contact them to clarify the situation but they repeatedly ignored our email despite, as they themselves suggested, we marked them as "urgent". In the end I have no other choice but to pay. This was the worst experience I ever had with an insurance company, and so far I had both italian and german ones. Never again with them for any reason.
